March for Jobs and Freedom
Washington DC, August 24

The first March on Washington in 1963 saw thousands travel from across
the country to demand jobs and freedom from Jim Crow segregation and
racism. Fifty years later those demands are again on the table for
many African-Americans. In light of the Supreme Court's ruling on the
Voting Rights Act and the Zimmerman verdict, we need to commemorate
this 50 year anniversary of the first March by continuing the struggle
for racial justice.

Boston mobilization to DC - Buses leave Friday Aug 23 from NAACP HQ,
Mall of Roxbury, 330 MLK Blvd
arriving back in Boston Sunday Aug 25.
