Octavia Taylor will give a talk titled, "/*The Road from 
Damascus:  Syrian Stories of Love and War"* /on Sunday, September 22 at 
10:00 am at the First Congregational Parish, Unitarian in Petersham on 
the multi-faceted aspects of the conflict and how daily life for Syrians 
has been disrupted.Ms. Taylor spent a year in Syria from 2009 – 2010 and 
since then has kept in touch with Syrian friends who remain there and 
some who have left, a few of whom are in the US.
