Awarded for 'Documentary Achievement' at the University of Toronto Film
Festival, this is a unique film that examines academia's treatment of
critical perspectives on 9/11; it explores the taboo that shields the US
government's narrative from scholarly examination.
This film examines impairments in professional inquiry, the terms used
as thought-stoppers in academic discourse, the implications of an
'official' 9/11 narrative that builds' its foundation on tortured
testimony, the non-response to critical scholarship on 9/11 in the
humanities and sciences, and the attacks that occur on academic freedom.
The film promotes a powerful reflection on intellectual courage and the
purpose of academia, and aims to change intellectual discourse on 9/11
and the 'War on Terror' for a more peaceful world.
/"I find it troubling that so few [Academics] have seriously engaged
with the question of what actually happened on 9/11 and why. There are
so many holes and limitations in the official version that it calls out
for rigorous intellectual fact-finding and analysis./'
~Alvin A. Lee, President Emeritus of McMaster University
/"even Dr Zbig 'Grand Chessboard' Brzezinski, a former national security
advisor, admitted to the US Senate that the post-9/11 'war on terror' is
a 'mythical historical narrative'."/ ~Pepe Escobar
"/The role of the intellectual, so it is said, is to speak truth to
power. Noam Chomsky has dismissed this pious tag on two grounds. For one
thing, power knows the truth already; it is just busy trying to conceal
it. For another, it is not those in power who need the truth, but those
they oppress."/ ~Terry Eagleton
"/Exposing 9/11 truth will jump-start the cleaning up of our system
revealing all the corruption under one huge umbrella/" ~ 9/11 survivor. See

Why should YOU care? It's YOUR money that pays for US/Israeli wars - on
Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Palestine, Libya. Syria, Iran, So America, etc
etc - for billionaire bailouts, for ever more ubiquitous US prisons, for
the loss of liberty and civil rights...
