Due process rights under the Massachusetts Constitution and U.S.
Constitution (Bill of Rights)
Location: Banx Room - Main Library

Introducing our new Petition to support Due Process in Worcester. We are
requesting that Worcester, MA stand with the City of Albany, NY and the
towns of Oxford, Webster and Rutland, MA in upholding the 5th Amendment
guarantee of Due Process for all persons suspected or accused of committing
crimes. We assert that the Bill of Rights remains in full effect for all
inhabitants of Worcester, notwithstanding sections 1021 and 1022 of the
National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2012, which purported to
authorize indefinite detentions of accused persons without the right to Due
Process.
The rights to counsel, to face one's accuser(s) and to a jury of one's
peers are all inalienable rights which can never lawfully be nullified.
