Hi all,

You are cordially invited to attend a special two-talk series called
Contested Ethics: Anthropology, Social Science, and War on November 18

The series consists of two talks presenting contrasting viewpoints on
the relationship between anthropological/social science research and

great to have lots of peace activists to ask critical questions and give
 your point of view!

The first talk is by Montgomery McFate of the U.S. Naval War College:

What: "Anthropology in Warzones," a talk by Montgomery McFate

When: Tuesday, November 18, 4:30 to 6:00pm

Where: 310 Renaissance Park, Northeastern University

The second talk is by Paul Joseph of Tufts University:

What: "Softening War? Sociocultural Knowledge, Military Strategy, and
the Experience of Human Terrain Teams in Iraq and Afghanistan," a talk
by Paul Joseph
