This year's Black Friday protests at Walmartdemanding $15 an hour and more hours were the widest-reaching ever. Pickets andstrikes were planned at 1,600stores in 49 states. Thecurrent uptick in working-class resistance to the bosses’ assaults on wages, working conditions and benefits is occurring worldwide as the bosses and theirpoliticians worldwide have no answer to the continued slowdown of capitalistproduction and trade.

Hear John Studer, a long-time tradeunionist, now a reporter for the Militant,a socialist newsweekly, who reported twice from Ukraine this year on thefight of workers and farmers there to get the Russian boot off their back andto open up space to organize for better conditions of work and life.

Join the discussion of how as participantsin labor and social protests we can build a movement to fight for a governmentthat represents our interests not the bosses – a workers and farmersgovernment.
