GMO What Do You kNOw? A symposium featuring leaders in the field who provide solutions to Genetically Modified Organisms
Groton Wellness, a leader in whole body, all-natural health and dental care, is co-sponsoring a symposium on the dangers of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) with Health Roundhouse, Green City Growers and Dr. Dan's Natural Healing Center. Genetic Engineering of our food crops is common practice. Many studies show that genetically engineered food is safe for consumption. Jean Nordin-Evans, DDS, co-founder of Groton Wellness, and six leaders in the field who provide solutions to GMOs, will discuss this controversial topic, present information about the dangers of GMOs and show how it is possible to live and prosper with a non-GMO food supply.
Featured speakers include Stephanie Seneff, Sr. Research Scientist, MIT; Ridge Shinn, Grass-Fed Beef Consultant and Expert; Jesse Banhazl, Founder & CEO of Green City Growers; Dan Kittredge, Executive Director of the Bionutrient Food Association & Real Food Campaign; Chris Martin, Aspiring Farmer, Entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Tibersoft Corporation; and Andrew Teichner, Entrepreneur, Ecovortx. Topics discussed will include RoundupTM, 100% Grass-Fed, GMO-Free Beef,Revitalizing City Landscapes & Inspiring Self-Sufficiency; How Nutrient-Rich Food Can Make You Healthy and Local Community Farming.
Andrew Teichner will introduce Jean Nordin-Evans, who will then moderate the evening. The symposium will begin with each speaker introducing their topic of expertise and then Jean will lead the panel discussion. The event will finish with questions from the audience.
This free community event will take place at MIT (KIVA Room 32G-449), 32 Vassar Street, Cambridge MA 02139 on Tuesday, February 3 at 6-9 pm
