Join Boston local experts, *Matt Meyer, Juan Leyton, Stacy Cordiero* and
*CERO *as we discuss the worker cooperative movement on the local,
regional, and global levels.

Stacey Cordiero has worked as a technical assistance provider to
cooperatives for a total of 5 years at two different organizations:
Cooperative Economics for Women (CEW) in Boston MA, and the Cooperative
Development Institute (CDI) in Greenfield, MA. She have also worked as an
independent consultant for the Vermont Employee Ownership Center, and
provided peer assistance to the Boston Worker’s Alliance. She is a huge
co-op resource especially in developing cooperative bylaws, member
evaluation procedures, company policies, and collective/democratic
management structures, as well as researching and writing market reports,
feasibility studies, and business plans.

Juan Leyton is the former director of Neighbor to Neighbor Massachusetts
and City Life/Vida Urbana. He is currently working with the Local
Enterprise Assistance Fund (LEAF) –one of three Community Development
Finance Institutions in the country providing financing to food coops,
manufactured homes and worker owned enterprises.

Matt Meyer is a Housing Program Organizer with the Cooperative Development
Institute and has begun to offer consultation for the formation of new
group-equity housing cooperatives in the Boston area. He is also a founding
board member and resident of the Lucy Stone Cooperative.
