[act-ma] Tues Feb. 10 - United Story: Boston Beyond Today: art in response to systemic racism

Two evenings of art, performance and discussion to bring together
perspectives and voices of individuals in response to the recent uprising
in Ferguson, Boston and beyond. There will be a gallery of photography,
writing, film and music, performances of original devised and documentary
theatre, slam poetry, music, film and more.

Tuesday, February 10
Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theatre
539 Tremont Street, Boston, MA
Doors open at 7:00pm
Free event, suggested donation of $10, all are welcome

Saturday February 28
First Church Somerville
89 College Avenue, Somerville, MA
Doors open at 7:00pm
Free event, suggested donation of $10, all are welcome

The event on 2/10 will end with a facilitated discussion to strategize what
we as a community can do in response to the stories we can no longer
ignore, and to devise as a group to a to-be-determined community project.
The event on 2/28 will be a chance to look back on the work that has been
done, and will also feature performance from members of First Church
Somerville.
