future of the Iran Nuclear Deal at Tufts University at 2 Room 316 at 574
Boston Ave Medford, and at Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont St.,
Boston, 5th floor, at 5:30.  The international community blocked all of
Iran’s pathways to a nuclear weapon and they did so without any violence.
This agreement has been praised across the globe.

Trita Parsi will speak about his new book *Losing an Enemy – Obama, Iran,
and the Triumph of Diplomacy <https://www.losinganenemy.com/>* regarding
the success of the Iran Deal and how it is now at risk under the Trump
Administration.  He will sign copies after the talk.

Trita Parsi’s first book, *Treacherous Alliance – The Secret Dealings of
Israel, Iran and the US* (Yale University Press, 2007) won the Grawemeyer
award and Council of Foreign Relations Arthur Ross Award in 2008 (Silver
medallion).  His second book, *A Single Roll of the Dice – Obama’s
Diplomacy with Iran* (Yale University Press, 2012) was selected as The Best
Book on The Middle East in 2012 by Foreign Affairs.

Dr. Parsi is the President of the largest Iranian-American grassroots
organization in the US, the National Iranian American Council, and has
taught at Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University. He
currently teaches at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at
Georgetown University in Washington DC.
