During this ZOOM forum, Kevin Peterson will talk about efforts to rename Faneuil Hall as part of a larger project of interrogating structural racism of varying formations in Boston, ranging from economic, social and political conditions. His informal presentation will cover "why" renaming Faneuil Hall is necessary and touch upon other efforts in the state to achieve racial reconciliation and repair.

Kevin’s remarks will be followed by plenty of time for discussion.

Kevin Peterson is the Founder of the New Democracy Coalition and the Faneuil Hall Race + Reconciliation Project. His organization has been recognized for efforts around statewide redistricting, automatic voter registration and the Boston to Selma Pilgrimage that transports activists to Selma for spiritual and social justice renewal.
