Supporters of Julian Assange will rally in front of the JFK Building in
Boston City Hall Plaza on Monday, February 1 at 11am calling on the US
government to drop charges against Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks.


Assange is currently being held in Belmarsh Prison while the US appeals the
January 4 decision not to extradite him to the US, which they made on the
basis of his precarious mental health and likelihood to commit suicide in
US custody.


The Obama administration had not charged him, fearing that it would violate
free speech.  We call on the Biden administration to reverse the Trump
administration's prosecution of Assange and drop all charges against him.
