Hey! Could you help spread the word about this?

Today, for Trans Day of Visibility, I released a video for my song “The
Tyranny of Either/Or,” and there’s an awesome piece about it in Rolling
Stone!

Here’s the link:

The video is made from archival footage of key events in the history of
militant trans and queer resistance, including the Compton’s Cafeteria
Riot, the formation of S.T.A.R., and Sylvia Rivera’s iconic speech at
Christopher Street Liberation Day, which I sample at the beginning of the
song.

All proceeds from my Bandcamp sales
<https://evangreer.bandcamp.com/album/spotify-is-surveillance> of the song
will be donated to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute <https://marshap.org/>
to support their work.

This is the last release before the album, Spotify is Surveillance, drops
on April 9th! Trans Day of Visibility can be kind of a weird day for many
of us, since visibility doesn’t always translate to justice or liberation.
But it does seem like a good day to lift up our often hidden trans history.

I’d super appreciate it if you help by sharing the video on your socials or
forwarding etc :-)

Thanks so much!
