Hello Friends,

We are preparing to launch a series of Privacy Workshops/Labs and Discussions -

Please help us choose a day/time that is best for you to attend the discussions here:
https://communitybridge.com/bbb-room/privacyworkshop ):

* Your Privacy is your future.

/(if you want to remain yourself in the digital world)/

CommunityBridge.com will be hosting a series of workshops to help
participants take back control of their data.

Privacy is a delicate thing. To remain private in the digital world, you
must carry it across an ever-changing landscape. Our goal is to grow a
community of technology users who can help each other navigate that
landscape, and balance their privacy goals with demands of modern
society. Our workshops will emphasize the role of free software in
preserving users' freedoms online and offline.

We are inviting technologists from different areas to discuss current
trends, methods, products, and services in personal data management,
trusted communications, and fair transfer of value over the internet.
Our experts will then be available to help members that need to secure
their devices, set up data flows, and establish trusted connections.
Once our experts have their skills shown, we will discuss making a
matrix of their services and figure out how much to charge people that
need one-on-one consultations on privacy-related issues and projects.
Our meetings may come in different forms, for example:

- showing videos on the workshop's topics, such as demos of
technologies, products, and services
- watching movies and presentations and discussing the value of Privacy,
Trust and the meaning of Data Equity in the digital age
- experts describing and explaining a technology and/or one or more
products/services
- experts performing a live demo of a product or service

To suggest a topic, refer a presenter, or volunteer to run a workshop,
please fill out the form at:

We are trying to make our meetings convenient and useful for as many
people as we can, and asking you to help us with that. Please take a
minute and fill out a poll to indicate your preferred times for us to
meet at https://communitybridge.com/bbb-room/privacyworkshop/
<https://communitybridge.com/bbb-room/privacyworkshop/> There, you will
see two sets of choices: one for the day of week and one for the time of
day. You can choose two preferences from each set.

We have also created a form where you can enter other comments and
suggestions for the workshop in as free text:

https://communitybridge.com/privacy-feedback?target=commentsuggestion

Finally, we set up a poll where you can suggest a name for our workshop,
and vote for the name(s) you like:
