CUBA 2022- EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS FROM INTERNATIONAL MAY DAY BRIGADE AND OTHER DELEGATIONS

Please join us on Tuesday, May 24th 7-9 PM EDT, to hear about the experiences of the International May Day Brigade. The US delegation joined hundreds of Brigadistas from around the world for two weeks of meetings with union workers, farmers, neighborhood groups, health and scientific workers, women's groups, and artists! Come hear about their experiences and about their joining in with five million Cubans who were out in the streets on May Day supporting the revolution!

Also, learn about the experiences from two other recent delegations to Cuba, including IFCO/Pastors for Peace's Friendship Caravan, delivering much needed medical supplies. And hear about first-hand experience with Cuba's health care and response to COVID and the Cuban perspective on the impact of the Brigade!
Join us for an active dialogue and discussion from US and Cuban speakers and to support the upcoming IFCO Friendship Caravan this July.

Panel Discussion Speakers include:

  * 3 members of the 2022 International May Day Brigade
  * Rev. Dorlimar Lebrón Malavé, IFCO-Pastors for Peace
  * Rev. Vernon K. Walker, Mass. Peace Action
  * Claudia Kaiser-Lenoir, former Tufts University professor, with firsthand experience of Cuban health care!
Plus:

  * Yamil Martínez Marrero, Cuban Institute of Friendship of the Peoples (ICAP), Senior Specialist, North America: key organizer of the May Day Brigade
