We hope you will join us for our next stand-out for Julian Assange, which
we're doing later in the day than usual. We'll be at Park St Station from* 4
to 5:30*. It's the same day that Chelsea Manning will be speaking over at
WBUR City Space at 6:30:
https://ci.ovationtix.com/35123/production/1139758?performanceId=11167161
She'll be talking about her life and her new memoir README.txt. Tickets
are $25-$5 for students and $5 for online tickets. Hopefully hosting
Manning will get WBUR thinking about covering Julian Assange, for a change.

Mr. Assange faces 175 years in a US supermax prison if extradited. It is
the first time in US history that a journalist – an Australian citizen – is
being charged under the archaic US Espionage Act.

On Oct 5th, Stella Moris took down US warmonger John Bolton on live TV:

Julian Assange is one of two finalists for the 2022 Sakharov Prize for
Freedom of Thought. Many believe Assange is the right candidate for the
award because he upheld the central responsibility of a journalist -
publishing without fear or favor and aiming to hold power to account. It is
for his commitment to publishing 100% truthful information that he is now
being persecuted.

On Oct 12th Stella Moris gave a speech at the European Union Parliament on
behalf of her husband as a nominee for the Sakharov Prize calling on the
parliamentarians to “save Julian’s life”:

October 8th was a historic day in the effort to Free Assange. 7,000+
supporters surrounded London’s Parliament – crossing two bridges over the
Thames River. Video footage of #SurroundParliament:

#SurroundTheGlobe4Assange was a day of global solidarity for the freedom of
Julian Assange.

On the same day, hundreds of supporters gathered to encircle the Department
of Justice in Washington DC with a huge #FreeAssange yellow ribbon. Two
dozen well-known speakers spoke on behalf of Julian Assange and against the
US government’s unlawful treatment of this innocent journalist. Twitter
thread of ‘Hands Off Assange’ action and speeches at the Dept of Justice:

This is the press freedom case of modern time and Fox News was the only
mainstream media to report on this Oct 8th action:

On Oct 10th, Assange tested positive for COVID and was put in 24hr
lockdown. It’s even more critical that we free Assange to avoid the risk of
him dying in prison.

Please join us Monday, Oct 24th 4-5:30pm at Park St Station.
