Tax Day Rally for Peace and our Future - Boston

As April 15th approaches, almost all Americans understand their responsibilities to pay income taxes to the Federal Government. But very few of us know that more than half of those taxes will be spent on weapons, wars and military costs.

As a result of this extreme military spending, critical human needs will be underfunded in housing, health care, public transit, higher education, pandemic preparedness, environmental protection and climate programs.


MAHT will be a featured speaker to urge for cuts to military spending which could be used to support much needed affordable housing.
