scholar, critic, and political commentator, *Aijaz Ahmad* (author of/In
Theory, /and /Lineages of the Present,/ and many other important
works)./Lineages of the Present: Ideology and Politics in Contemporary
South Asia/

theorists from South Asia, but also as one of the most powerful voices
on the topic of imperialism.
Join us on Friday, Sept. 29th at 6 p.m. in Barnum Hall for the keynote
presentation byVijay Prashad
