Are you looking for something different on July 4th? Do the red, white, and
blues year after year bring you down? Would you prefer to declare
Independence from corporate greed, genocide, and colonial conquest?
Consider gathering for the annual *Anti-Imperialist Picnic*. Instead of
celebrating the founding fathers’ slave republic, or the bombing of Gaza
and Iran, let’s celebrate worldwide opposition to war, imperialism,
colonialism and apartheid. Let’s celebrate the resilience of working people
worldwide. Free Palestine!
Enjoy grilling and chilling with friends? Well then, the Anti-Imperialist
Picnic is for you! On July 4th, from 12 Noon to 6 PM, come on out to the
Allston/Brighton Charles riverside. It will be right next to the canoe and
kayak rental location (1071 Soldiers Field Road, Boston, MA 02134). There
are 3 parking areas along Soldiers Field Road. We are accommodating all
dietary choices with separate grills for Vegans and non-Vegans. Feel free
to bring whatever food and drinks you’d like. Come spend the day free of
patriotic nonsense. Look for our tents, Palestinian flags, and banners. No
stars and stripes please.
