areas of education, housing and health care. And for the past 50 years, the U.S<br>government has waged a war against the people of Cuba as a result. The U.S<br>embargo against Cuba replaces conventional bombs and bullets with food and<br>
medication.<br><br>Last month, devastating hurricanes struck Cuba and elsewhere in the Caribbean and<br>Gulf Coast, including Haiti who was severely affected.<br>What Cuba needs more than anything is the lifting of the U.S. blockade, and an<br>
immediate end to the U.S. trade and travel restrictions. The 47-year-old blockade has<br>caused more than $86 billion of damage to Cuba.<br><br>Now is the time, when the people are in most need of important resources, to end<br>
the embargo against Cuba. Condoleeza Rice, just after Hurricane Gustav struck Cuba,<br>said "now is not the time" to lift the embargo. But the people demand:<br><br><b>END THE CUBAN EMBARGO NOW!</b><br><br>If you can make a donation but cannot attend,<br>
