them at a showing of three superb films about voting rights in the USA - past

WATCH<BR></FONT><FONT size=3><B><U> <BR>5:15 PM</U></B> <B>Iron Jawed
Angels</B> and the first wave of suffragists, the Silent Sentinels, protest in
front of the White House. Watch Alice Paul be tortured in prison and a feeding
tube forced down her throat. We need to remember our foremothers and what
they did to get the vote for American women. With Hillary Swank, Frances
O’Connor, Julia Ormond and Angelica Huston. <BR> <BR><B><U>7:00 PM</U></B>
<B>American Blackout </B>and see the suppression of the vote of African
Americans. This film goes from the 2000 Florida election to the 2004 Ohio
election and includes historical footage from the confrontation between police
and non-violent marchers on March 7, 1965 on the Edmond Pettus Bridge in Selma,
Alabama. With Cynthia McKinney, John Conyers, John Lewis and the late
great Stephanie Tubbs-Jones.<BR> <BR><B><U>8:30 PM</U></B> Come watch the
electronic voting machines hacked before your very eyes in <B>Hacking Democracy.
