An active housing justice group in Boston, MAHT is in its
25<sup>th</sup> year of organizing low income tenants of
HUD-assisted buildings in Massachusetts to develop grassroots leaders and save their homes.<span>
</span>MAHT currently has a FT position for a smart, politically progressive,

Administration</b> will support the ED in research and preparation of grants
(an average of four a month); organize and implement two major fundraising
events a year and thus increase individual and corporate donations over time; maintain
membership and donor database; coordinate semi-annual mail appeals; oversee
office management including payroll and vendor payments; assist in creation of
annual budget; assist in monitoring organization budget.<span> </span>Serve as liaison to members, supporters and
friends of the organization.<span> </span>Maintain
web site; create flyers; create e-newsletters and action alerts. <span> </span>Communicate with staff, board and volunteers. </span></font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; color: rgb(0, 102, 51);"><font size="2"><b><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Qualifications</span></b><br /><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Candidates
must have a commitment to housing justice as well as possessing
the following skills, experience and knowledge:planning, excellent writing skills, excellent research skills; fundraising
events experience; newsletter production; web site maintenance and e-newsletters. In
addition, candidates must have experience working in a multi-racial environment
and working with and for low-income residents. Candidates should have some experience with creating
and/or managing budgets. Some experience in publicity and marketing is
preferred.<span> </span>Bi-lingual skills are preferred
(Spanish/English).<span> </span>Plenty of energy and
