Colonies, often referred to as "settlements," were used to solidify the Zionist foothold throughout historic <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Palestine</st1:place></st1:City>.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>
<DIV><SPAN style="COLOR: windowtext"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">Following the 1967 occupation of the West Bank and <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Gaza</st1:place></st1:City>, more than 200 settlements and outposts have been built in these territories, in violation of international law. <EM>The Iron Wall</EM> exposes this phenomenon and follows the timeline, size, and population of the settlements, reveals how their construction has been a cornerstone of Israeli policy, and demonstrates how the Wall secures them as permanent and irreversible facts on the ground. This documentary warns that a contiguous and viable Palestinian state is becoming no longer possible, and that the chances for a peaceful resolution of the conflict are slipping away.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>Gabriel Camacho has had a long standing involvement in political solidarity work with the Palestinian struggle for self determination.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>He currently works as Regional Organizer of Project Voice, an immigrant rights program, for the <st1:place w:st="on">New England</st1:place> office of the American Friends Service Committee, where he is also an active member of a Local 66L of UNITE HERE. He serves as the President of the Junta Directiva of Centro Presente, a Central American immigrant community organization. In 1999, Gabriel founded the Massachusetts Chapter of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (an AFL-CIO constituency group). He currently serves as the Chair of Massachusetts Jobs With Justice, is and on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Labor Education on the Americas Project. <BR><BR>In 2004
the Third World Coalition of the AFSC held its annual meeting in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">San Diego</st1:place></st1:City> partly to protest the 10th anniversary of Operation Gatekeeper with border communities in resistance to the wall and militarization of the U.S./Mexico border. This experience inspired Gabriel to develop an analysis and presentation entitled “Two Walls, One Struggle,” which draws parallels between the walls on the Mexican border and that within the <st1:place w:st="on">West Bank</st1:place>. This particular project seeks to bridge the struggles of Latino Immigrants and the Arab / Muslim communities in the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">U.S.</st1:country-region></st1:place> </FONT></DIV>
