Palestinian fighter Bassam Aramin and former Israeli soldier Yaniv
Reshef, members of the Jerusalem-based <b>Combatants for Peace</b>,
speak at the church as part of their U.S. tour.<br>
<br>
<b>Combatants for Peace</b> is a movement of more than 600 former
Israeli soldiers and former Palestinian fighters who now work together
using nonviolence to build justice and peace. Mr. Aramin lost his
ten-year-old daughter to an Israeli soldier¹s rubber bullet. Mr. Reshef

The Combatants for Peace tour is sponsored September Eleventh
Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, founded by family members of those
killed on 9/11; The Peace Abby, located in Sherborn, a multi-faith
retreat center; and The Rebuilding Alliance, a nonprofit organization
that rebuilds homes and communities in regions of war and occupation.<br>

<p><b>From Boston and points west</b>: Follow Route 60 east (exit 32
off Route 93) to Malden Center. Cross the Fellsway West <em>and</em>
Fellsway East. First Parish is the large stone church on
the left next to the Beebe Elementary School (and before the Malden
business district).</p>
<p><b>From the North Shore</b>: Follow Route 60 west (exit off Route 1)
to
Malden Center. Go through the business district and past the Malden
Center T station. First Parish is the large stone church
on the right next to the Beebe Elementary School.</p>
<b>Free parking</b> is available in the lot between the church
and the Beebe Elementary School. Turn north at Highland Ave at the
small park with a statue of a Spanish-American War soldier. Then bear
right onto Elm Street. Use the
entrance on the Elm Street side of the building.<br>
