"School wide/Family, Yom HaAtzmaut Israel Independence Celebration
10:30 AM <br>
You are invited to join our students and their families on Sunday, May
10, at 10:30 am as we join together in the sanctuary for an "all school
family assembly" and then take to the streets to celebrate Yom
Ha'Atzmua'ut/Israel Independence Day. There will be activities for
everyone to enjoy both inside and outside of the Temple. Try your
hand(or foot rather) at Kadoor-Regell soccer, or jump up and down in
our bouncy castle. Dig the fun at our own archaeological site. Enjoy
falafel from a real live falafel stand, play shesh beshl backgammon,
Israeli games, face paint, arts and crafts and much more. You will even
be able to make cards for Yom Ha'Em (Mother's Day Cards). Through all
of the challenges Israel has faced, and all the miracles she has
witnessed, the 61st birthday celebration symbolizes our continuing
yearning for peace. School will begin as usual at 9:30 am and end at
12:30 pm (maybe 1:00 pm because of the fun!). Adult Israeli Dance 11:00
AM Experience the aerobic side of Judaism when you join fellow
enthusiasts for Sunday morning Israeli dancing. All levels welcome. <b><font
