<DIV><STRONG>The Boston Interpreters Collective is seeking volunteers dedicated to social justice and immigrant rights to teach English to parents and family members of children in the Boston Public Schools.</STRONG> Dedicated to multilingual justice and eliminating power differences based on language, these English classes teach basic grammar and conversation while developing organizing skills and building community.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Interested volunteers would dedicate 2 days a week/ 2 hours per class and 1 hour planning time per week (total: 5 hours/week). Teaching/organizing experience, knowledge of Popular Education techniques preferred but not necessary. </DIV>
