text-autospace:none">George Capaccio, Arlington resident and member of Arlington/Lexington
UJP, began the <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size:13.0pt;mso-bidi-font-family:Arial">Iraq Family Relief
Fund</span></b><span style="mso-bidi-font-size:13.0pt;mso-bidi-font-family:
Arial"> in 1998 shortly after his fourth trip to Iraq. He had originally gone
there to witness the effects of US-enforced economic sanctions on the people of
Iraq. In the course of theses visits, George formed close ties with a group of
related families in Baghdad. The Iraq Family Relief Fund is a person-to-person
effort to help these families afford such basics as food, clothing, and
medicines while living under conditions of war and the ongoing U.S. occupation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-pagination:none;mso-layout-grid-align:none;
text-autospace:none"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size:13.0pt;mso-bidi-font-family:
Arial">George relies entirely on donations. <span style="mso-spacerun:
yes"> </span>Arlington/Lexington UJP is sponsoring this community event to
assist George with this humanitarian relief effort.</span></p>

mixes) and canned food (soups, fruits, vegetables) will be accepted for the

jar will be available for PIH and boxes for Food Pantry contributions will be
