Labor Notes Fund-raiser with Bands and Fun!</span><br><font size="2"><font face="verdana,sans-serif"><b><br><font size="4"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><br>For
over 30 years, Labor Notes has been putting the movement back in the
labor movement. <span style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0);">Mark Brenner</span>, coordinator of Labor Notes, will be
speaking in Boston on this Saturday, April 3rd. This year's conference
in Detroit which expects over a thousand union activist participants.
Mark will be speaking on the conference themes of </span></font></b></font></font></font><font size="4"><b>defending
jobs and the public sector, linking up struggles and a political
strategy for the labor movement. Mark will be followed by two bands
filled with activists. <span style="color: rgb(153, 0, 0);">Jake and the Infernal Machine</span>, a folk-punk act

on Saturday, April 3rd in Chinatown at Encuentro Cinco which is the
fifth floor of 33 Harrison Avenue in the UNITE-HERE building. Donations will be sought to help
send young workers and the unemployed to the Labor Notes conference in
