& Freedom' (1995) Persuaded of the necessity of helping the Spanish
Republicans in their fight against the fascist Nationalist insurgence,
Carr, a young unemployed worker and member of the Communist Party,
leaves Liverpool and travels to Spain to join the International
Brigades.</p>

- 'Wetback: The Undocumented Documentary' (2005) Confronted by the
border patrol, vigilantes, and gangs, two friends travel without papers
from Nicaragua to the United States, accompanied by filmmaker, Arturo
Perez Torres.</p>
<p>8pm - 'Made in LA' (2008) <span class="Apple-style-span">The
remarkable story of three Latina immigrants working in Los Angeles
garment sweatshops as they embark on a three-year odyssey to win basic
labor protections from trendy clothing retailer </span>Forever <span class="Apple-style-span">21.</span></p>

Rule: The Investment Theory of Politics' (2009) A new revolutionary
interpretation of political systems featuring Tom Ferguson, Noam
Chomsky, Michael Albert, et al. followed by discussion with producer,
Charngchi Way, and director, Jonathan Shockley, via Skype.</p>

auto-parts workers walk into their idle factory, roll out sleeping
mats, and refuse to leave. All they want is to re-start the silent
machines. But this simple act - <strong>The Take</strong> - has the
power to turn the globalization debate on its head. <br>Followed by
discussion with Pasqualino Colombaro of the Global Economics
Alternatives Network (GEAN).</p>
<p>9pm - '5 Factories: Worker Control in Venezuela' (2006) A unique
perspective on the Bolivarian experiment, examining the succeses and
challenges of five companies that have rejected traditional ideas of
industrial management, stressing the importance of non-hierarchical
organization in the process of social transformation.</p>
