(1995) Persuaded of the necessity of helping the Spanish Republicans in

unemployed worker and member of the Communist Party, leaves Liverpool
and travels to Spain to join the International Brigades.</p>

Confronted by the border patrol, vigilantes, and gangs, two friends

(2006) A unique perspective on the Bolivarian experiment, examining the
