 sans-serif">Once again, the Augusta area Women in Black and Veterans for Peace are marching in the Old Hallowell Day parade on Saturday, July 17,
 2010.<br></font><span class="Apple-style-span" style="line-height:16px;"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">In 2005, the
 Winslow 4th of July parade committee refused the Waterville-Winslow Bridges for Peace request for a float.  The Augusta Women in Black, which had
 marched in previous Hallowell parades, invited the Waterville-Winslow group to join them in the parade, and in turn, Hallowell parade officials extended the invitation with a “Everyone marches in Hallowell”.  </font></span><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This year marks the 9th year that P&J activists have marched in this parade.</font><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">We are inviting all Maine peace and justice activists to march with us this year.  The parade begins at 10:00 am.  Join us beginning at 9:15 Saturday morning in the parking lot on the north side of the train underpass leading into downtown
 Hallowell.</span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">Our theme this year is Props for Peace.  When Lisa Savage spoke prior to Noam Chomsky's appearance in Portland earlier this year, she appeared as she usually does when she teaches.  Then she put on her Marge Simpson pink wig to become one of the Solon Code Pink group, emphasizing that props are an essential teaching tool for activists.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">Wikipedia defines props as</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:sans-serif;line-height:19px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">A </span><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">theatrical property</span></b><span
