font-family:Arial'> is responsible for leading, planning, and implementing
GRI’s strategic grantmaking and advocacy programs. Grassroots’
grantmaking program includes: creating and managing the annual grants docket
(FY10 $1.5 million); working closely with 25 global partners and many
additional grantees; reviewing current programs, and developing new
initiatives, within the context of an organizational strategic plan. Its
advocacy program includes: collaborating with advocacy allies on strategic
campaigns targeting <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">U.S.</st1:country-region></st1:place>
policies; representing and speaking for Grassroots at conferences and other
public venues; coordinating with other staff to produce targeted e-advocacy
actions; and producing compelling written material for internal and external
