<br><b><span class="il">Matthew</span> <span class="il">McNeill</span> </b>aka Mr. <span class="il">McNeill</span>
has been behind the decks for over 13 years. Starting off as a hip-hop
dj back when Fat-Beats was still just a store in Greenwich Village, Mr.
<span class="il">McNeill</span> learned the art of cutting, scratching
and mixing with some beats from the golden era of Hip-Hop. It wasn't
until a few years later after going to NYC clubs such as Vinyl and the
legendary Twilo that Mr. <span class="il">McNeill</span> would try his
hand at electronic dance music. Once he started mixing the 4/4 based
dance beats it was hard to stop him. He would tirelessly practice and
take any gig he could get-from college frat parties to small NYC venues
such as the now defunct Corova Milk Bar. In the early 2000's Mr. <span class="il">McNeill</span>
relocated to Washington DC where he continued perfecting his craft. In
Washington DC Matt starting playing events and various after-hours
parties. After a short stint in LA Mr. <span class="il">McNeill</span>
moved to Boston. Since moving to Boston he has been gaining a
reputation as one of the more skillfully refined house music jocks in
the city. 2010 has been a pretty good year for him, he has played at
the seminal Phoenix Landing, various loft parties and has held down a
residency for the CreateSpace parties. He has big plans for 2011
including various productions and more CreateSpace parties in the
works. If you would like hear some of Mr. <span class="il">McNeill</span>'s various podcasts please visit <a href="http://soundcloud.com/matthewmcneill" target="_blank">http://soundcloud.com/matthewmcneill</a>.<br clear="all">
