Hey fellow activists and organizers!

We've made it through another Life upgrade - we're now at 1.1.11. Hope
you saved your resolutions before the auto-reboot last night at
midnight!

Was one of your resolutions to have more meaningful relationships? Did
you resolve to "do more good" in the world? Maybe you wanted to stop
procrastinating and start living life to the fullest? Whatever your
resolution, Socializing for Justice has something great in store for you in 2011!

We know this because SoJust STARZ (regulars) come together for a SoJust Visioning
every January to re-examine this great social experiment we call
Socializing for Justice. We discuss what SoJust is, what can it be and
how will we know when we get there. We're open to a few more community
leaders attending even if they haven't been to a SoJust event. Please
contact me if you'd like to attend the SoJust Visioning on January 15
from 2-5PM in JP. We want to be sure we're being accountable to the
larger social change community in Boston.

Towards that end, I'm really pleased to share that we'll be continuing
the Skillshares every month until a summer break in June. We're very
excited to announce that we've confirmed a home for our monthly Skillshares at The NonProfit Center, "Boston's home for progressive social change," located in downtown Boston. Third Sector New England,

soon be announcing a regular monthly schedule for Skillshares to make
it easier to plan ahead.
P.S. Did you notice we were one of the only organizations that didn't
send you an end of year fundraising appeal? That's because Socializing
for Justice isn't a non-profit 501(c)(3). We're a grassroots
volunteer-run member-supported group that's been growing steadily since
August 2006. We now have almost 1600 members, we've hosted over 85
events and we manage an online hub of progressive events and resources
at www.sojust.org. If you've benefited from this cross-issue progressive
network please contribute the suggested annual membership fee of $25.
You may do this online or at any of our events. Thank you for helping us continue to provide a space for like-minded progressives of all stripes.
