Join acclaimed Latino director Luis Argueta for a special,
first-time screening and discussion of his new documentary,
"abUSed: The Postville Raid." The film tells the story of
Immigration and Customs Enforcement's massive raid on the
Agriprocessors kosher meatpacking plant in the sleepy town
of Postville, Iowa, in 2008. "abUSed: The Postville Raid"
takes us behind the scenes of one of the largest immigration
raids in US history, exploring issues of social justice,
labor and immigrants' rights and ethical kosher production.
Set in Iowa and Guatemala, with stopovers in Washington, DC,
courtrooms, this remarkable documentary is sure to spark
discussion and debate. Stay after the screening to discuss
socially-engaged journalism and documentary filmmaking with
