Co-authored with University of Leeds’ agricultural expert Dr. Evan D.G. Fraser–who will not attend—the book vividly chronicles the fate of people over the past twelve thousand years through the food they ate and provides devastating insights into what to expect in years to come.<br><br>What is the fragility in our 21st century food system? If our food supplies failed, as has happened to every other human civilization in the past, how would we feed America’s 300 plus millions? What can we do to avoid this possible calamity?<br><br>Andrew Rimas is a journalist and the managing editor at the Improper Bostonian magazine; previously he was associate editor and staff writer at Boston magazine. His work frequently appeared in those publications and in the Boston Globe Magazine and The Boston Globe.<br><br>Dr. Evan D.G.
