Angelo wrote about and made illustrations of many incredible inventions made by prisoners to fill needs that the restrictive environment of prisons do not allow or actively suppress. The inventions include everything from condoms to salt and pepper shakers to chess sets. With Angelo's insight, words, and guidance, and the assistance of many friends and collaborators, Temporary Services co-created a book and a traveling exhibition that includes re-creations of many of the inventions and of Angelo's prison cell. Temporary Services and Angelo started working on
Prisoners' Inventions in 2001 and the project has been seen internationally, including at the 2007 Athens (Greece) Biennial, at MassMOCA, and at the Transmediale Festival in Berlin. </SPAN></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; FONT-SIZE: 10pt"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
