<p style="font-family: arial,sans-serif; font-size: 13px; margin: 0em 0em 1em;">The recent attack on municipal workers in Massachusetts shows once again that the Democratic party is no friend of workers. The Democrat-led effort in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, quietly carried out in the late hours of the night last month, voted limit bargaining rights for teachers, firefighters and other municipal workers.</p>
<p style="font-family: arial,sans-serif; font-size: 13px; margin: 0em 0em 1em;">Faced with a political system dominated by two big-business parties, what are working people to do?</p>

The Villar campaign called for taking the power out of the hands of the billionaires, putting the wealth of the city at the service of working people and cleaning the streets of the killer cops that prey on the city's communities.</p>

Dorotea has been engaged in the struggle against the racist "Secure Communities" program and is a passionate fighter for full rights for all oppressed people. She most recently helped organize a rally for International Workers Day.</p>

Ommani has written a number of articles documenting U.S. foreign policy toward Iran and has been deeply involved in the anti-war movement and the struggle against U.S. wars and occupations.</p>
