Many civilian deaths have resulted, the infrastructure of Libya has been severely damaged and over 500,000 migrant workers from northern Africa and around the world have been forced to flee the country. This military assault on Libya continues to this day, now being carried out through NATO which is a U.S. led alliance. (The British newspaper the <i>Daily Mail</i> estimates that the war is currently costing U.S. taxpayers $2 million/day.) This military attack has nothing to do with “saving lives” and everything to do with control of the oil, gas and other resources of Northern Africa and the Middle East to benefit the U.S. rich!!<u></u><u></u></span></p>

A new CBS poll </span><a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20070187-503544.html" target="_blank">http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20070187-503544.html</a><span> reported that 60% of the U.S. population believe that the U.S. “should not be involved” in Libya.
