<p>Featuring Kathy Kelly and David Smith-Ferri</p>
<p>Leaders of <a href="http://vcnv.org/">Voices for Creative Nonviolence</a>, Kelly and Smith-Ferri will describe conditions in Iraq, Afghanistan,and Pakistan.</p>
<p>Kathy Kelly is a three time nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize and founding member and co-coordinator of VCNV. She has travelled to Iraq and Afghanistan many times, notably remaining in combat zones during the early "Shock and Awe days of the Iraq war. </p>
<p>She has been arrested more than sixty times. She has also visited Pakistan and Gaza, and was on the ship "Audacity of Hope as part of the latest Gaza flotilla.</p>
<p>She has worked with war victims for over 20 years and shares that reality in speeches.</p>
<p>David Smith-Ferri has traveled with VCNV to Iraq, Jordan and Afghanistan since 1999. His visits inspired poems in his latest book, <em>With Children Like Your Own</em>.</p>
