The JP Whole Foods store is set to open its door very soon, but they still have not committed to a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) with Jamaica Plain! <a href="http://whosefoods.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5968da24b88874ba76871f03b&id=5acd8f2cd4&e=577b274f0b" style="color:#336699;font-weight:normal;text-decoration:underline" target="_blank">Sign on to our CBA statement here</a>. A CBA would be negotiated by the JP Neighborhood Council, a coalition of community organizations, and experienced negotiators. Such an agreement could result in 1% of Whole Food's annual revenue being returned to the community to <b>fight housing displacement</b>. <b>It could call for living wages for their non-union employees, support for youth programs and local businesses, and a published traffic study.</b><br>
