Women’s Day, marchers turned left on</DIV>
<DIV align=center><SPAN class=tab> </SPAN>Pearl St. in
Cambridge, Mass., and took over a Harvard University building</DIV>
<DIV align=center><SPAN class=tab> </SPAN>at 888 Memorial
Drive, declaring it a Women’s Center. The women occupied</DIV>
<DIV align=center><SPAN class=tab> </SPAN>the building
for ten days. This action transformed participants’ lives and</DIV>
<DIV align=center><SPAN class=tab> </SPAN>sparked the
creation of many, still vibrant, community-based projects.</DIV>
<DIV align=center><SPAN class=tab> </SPAN>LEFT ON PEARL
highlights this significant, but hidden, chapter in Second</DIV>
<DIV align=center><SPAN class=tab> </SPAN>Wave feminist
history. Some of the original occupiers and those who worked</DIV>
<DIV align=center><SPAN class=tab> </SPAN>on the film
will be present for discussion afterward.</DIV>
