October 25th is the 10th anniversary of the
assassination of Paul Wellstone.<br>

This film examines the killers' means, motive and
opportunity. High on the motive list is that
Senator Paul Wellstone was "sticking his nose into
9/11." Wellstone intimates say he was asking
questions about 9/11...and thus was publicly
executed as a warning.<br>
<br>
They Killed Him at 10:18, the plane is disabled, 7
miles from the airport. The King Air A-100 turbo
prop flies treetop level over shocked witnesses, 5
miles out: no lights, crabbed cockeyed, engines
spooling down, so low witnesses are amazed it
stays airborn. Three more miles and the plane
stalls, dropping into the woods, killing all 8 on
board (Paul, his wife Sheila, their daughter
Marcia, three staff members, and two pilots).<br>

Why would anyone go to such trouble to so publicly
kill the senior senator from Minnesota? Who
benefits? VP Cheney threatened Wellstone shortly
after the Senator's No vote on the Iraq War. ‘<b>Go
along with the program, if you know what’s good
for you and Minnesota. Stop sticking your nose
into 9/11.</b>’<br>

Senator Paul Wellstone was "the first 1960s
radical elected to the U.S. Senate." In Senate
Race 2002, the White House made defeating
Wellstone priority #1. Karl Rove hand-picked arch
Republican Norm Coleman to run against him.
Despite massive funding, Coleman was trailing the
popular Wellstone two weeks before election day.<br>
<br>
CNN's Wolf Blitzer insisted to his reporter at the
scene that foul weather was the lethal factor in
the crash, despite the statements to the contrary
from the CNN correspondent. <br>
<br>
Ph.D. Professors James Fetzer and Don 'Four
Arrows' Jacobs present the harrowing truth. The
plane was exceptionally airworthy. The weather
didn't bring down Senator Wellstone. Nor were the
two pilots incompetent, as the report of the
National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) would
eventually claim.<br>
<br>
The facts point elsewhere. The FBI arrived at the
remote rural crash scene less than two hours after
the crash. Could they have known about it in
advance? The FBI forbade the ambulance and fire
teams to take photos. Even the AP photographer on
hand was intimidated, delayed and then highly
monitored. For some reason, a member of the U.S.
Capitol Police Dignitary Protection Division was
also present.<br>
<br>
Why did the FBI state that they were treating the
site as a "crime scene" although there were "no
indications of any criminal activity"? How could
the FBI so very swiftly conclude and state
publicly, before NTSB arrived, that there was "no
evidence of terrorism" involved? Why did the NTSB
search for a black box for a day and a half and
then conclude that there hadn't been one, after
all?<br>
<br>
Intimidation was one tactic used by the FBI on
witnesses who had been directed to the FBI (local
cops were frozen out) which then suppressed their
testimony, just as the FBI sanitized the crash
site 8 hours before the NTSB came on the scene.
The national media began the cover-up right away:
bad weather, icing; that scenario didn't work so
the NTSB blamed it on the pilots. Though a high
profile crash that many in Minnesota were
skeptical about, the NTSB couldn't afford to hold
a public hearing; the truth would quickly become
evident. This film, begun the day after the crash,
gives voice to the people of the Iron Range:
witnesses, first-responders, citizens,
assassination experts such as Prof. James Fetzer
and Four Arrows.<br>
