<h1>Stop the "Grand Bargain" -- It's a Turkey!</h1>

<p><span>President Obama and Republicans are bargaining to cut the deficit. But they shouldn’t balance the budget on the backs of ordinary people, who didn’t cause the problems. <strong>Stop the fiscal swindle! </strong></span></p>

<p>On November 7, the people of 91 Massachusetts cities and towns passed the <i><a href="http://budget4allmass.org">Budget for All </a></i>by a <a href="http://budget4allmass.org/results">3 to 1 margin</a>. It calls for budget principles that will put people back to work, fight climate change, rebuild our economy for the future, and stop endless wars, while balancing the budget:</p>
<p><span>•<span> </span></span><span>Stop the cuts to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment benefits, housing, food and veterans’ benefits</span></p>

<p><span>•<span> </span></span><span>Close corporate tax loopholes, end offshore tax havens, and raise taxes on incomes over $250,000</span></p>
<p><span>•<span> </span></span><span>Reduce the military budget, end the war in Afghanistan and bring troops home safely now</span></p>

Bring appropriate props and costumes (turkeys, billionaire suits, musical instruments, signs and banners) -- and tell us in advance that you'll be there!
