Boston, in 2011, declared itself a Human Rights City dedicated to upholding the Declaration and its 30 articles. Boston City Councillor Charles Yancey and the human rights advocacy group 'Human Rights City Boston and Beyond' will facilitate the reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. <span></span>Mel King, educator and activist will speak. King<span> </span>invites you to join us in this reading in the interest of our larger human community.<span> </span>Michael Kane, Executive Director of the National Alliance of HUD Tenants will also speak.<span> </span>Kane urges our elected representatives to ratify the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. An outdoor reading will be held immediately following the indoor reading.</b></span></div></body></html>
