Boston, MA<br> <br> Join organizer Camilo Viveiros for an engaging, powerful, and effective workshop on transforming activism energy into organized action to bring about true social change. <br><br> Over the past 20 years, Camilo has organized grassroots efforts for economic justice among multi-ethnic communities. He has worked with thousands of tenants, workers, seniors, immigrants, students, youth, and people of faith throughout New England. In this workshop he shares lessons from on-the-ground organizing in order to help social activists grow their organizing strategy and power through outreach, base building, campaign development, and other tactics.<br>
<br> Whether you have experience organizing or not come expand your perspective and build a skill set which will enable you to mobilize others around an issue of injustice you are passionate about. All Emerson affiliates are invited to attend -- students, faculty, and staff!<br>
