She is committed to helping people from all walks of life become comfortable expressing their views to lawmakers. Her recent book, <em>Make Your Voice Matter With Lawmakers: No Experience Necessary</em> is based on a unique curriculum Miriam developed for her advocacy workshops. <br>
Miriam is the Advocacy Consultant to the Interfaith Advocacy Network to End Family Homelessness. Previously, she was Director of Governmental Affairs at the National Association of Social Workers, MA Chapter and Director of Communications at the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition.
