<p>This film examines official
'truths' in connection with
the bombing of Hiroshima, the
build-up of arms by Russia and
America, the siting of nuclear
bases by the US in Britain and
Europe, the $$$ billions of US
money spent on weapons ... a
NATO 'limited' nuclear and
chemical war exercise in West
Germany, which Pilger
describes as "a dry run for
the unthinkable."<br>

soothing language—used to
describe the carnage of war?
Lethal weapons are “<b>modernized
systems</b>”. Nuclear
weapons are called ”<b>deterrents</b>”.
The worst of Hiroshima was
never shown. The story was
tightly controlled. The one
reporter who managed to get in
without being controlled was
censored.<br>

<h2><b>The US has and has used 3
three types of WMD</b>: </h2>
<p> nuclear weapons, chemical
weapons and biological
weapons. <br>
• The US is the only
country to have used nuclear
weapons on people. <br>
• The US used chemical
weapons in World War I. <br>
• The US secretly developed
the atomic weapon during the
1940s under the title
"Manhattan Project". <br>
• The US used chemical
weapons on the Vietnamese; it
used them on Iraqis.<br>
• The US started a secret
bio-weapons program in the
'40s; <br>
in 1943 the U.S. Army
Biological Warfare
Laboratories were established
at Fort Detrick in Maryland.<br>
Noam Chomsky claimed
that evidence implicates the
U.S in biological warfare in
Cuba.<br>
In 1971 the first
serious outbreak of swine flu
in the Western Hemisphere
occurred in Cuba.<br>
• North Korean and Chinese
officials allege that the US
engaged in biological warfare
in North Korea during the
Korean War;<br>
testing in 2010 by
Professor Mori Masatak
confirmed this.<br>
In 1952 the Chinese and
North Koreans insinuated that
mysterious outbreaks of
disease in North Korea and
China were due to U.S.
biological attack.<br>
• The US has the largest
number of deployed nuclear
weapons in the world - with
300 more than Russia.<br>
