The Militant Labor
Forum presents:
From Bangladesh to the US –
The Fight For a Higher Minimum Wage, Jobs, Safety and
Unions
· Why the minimum wage is the anchor that holds down
everyone’s wages and the struggle by working people worldwide to raise wages.
· The fight for jobs – why the biggest division in the working
class is the competition between those with a job and those without.
· Workers killed and injured in factory fires, building
collapses, rail disasters – only workers and their unions can insure safety on
the job against the bosses’ drive for profit.
· The struggle by workers around the world to organize unions
today.
· The capitalist crisis of production and trade – the
capitalists and their governments make workers pay for their crisis.
