I want to let you know about an upcoming event on WMBR Radio and throughout
the country. The 16th annual Homelessness Marathon is a radio program that
originates outside of a homeless shelter, in a different city each year. In
the past, it's run for 14 hours (overnight), but this year it's only 6
hours, originating from Brattleboro, VT, next Weds., Feb 19 from 7 pm to 1
am. It will air on WMBR 88.1 FM and streaming live at wmbr.org and more
than 50 stations nationwide. There's a special toll-free call-in line for
homeless people to call and talk live on the air; they take calls
throughout the broadcast. There are also panel discussions and interviews.
It's not a fundraiser, it's a thought-provoking national discussion. We
hope you can spread the word among your friends and followers.
